General

The Neutrino Fusion boosts Missile weapons by increasing their speed at the cost of Area of Effect. It is limited to Altairian Hulls or better.

Note that you can stack this special with others that enlarge/contract AoE (e.g. AM Warheads and Palladium Munition), but not those with a Weapon Speed increase (e.g. Volatile Fuel).

Strategy and Setup

Advantages

Neutrino Fusion grants a significant increase to the speed of Missile-based weapons, making it nigh impossible to dodge missile or torpedo weapons boosted by this special. This ensures that weapons such as the Bayonet Missile and the Sai Missile will most definitely hit their targets, allowing the weapons to inflict significant damage on enemy ships,

Disadvantages

Neutrino Fusion provides a penalty to the AoE Radius of the weapons equipped.

Trivia

  • Neutrino Fusion has the greatest Projectile Speed increase of all weapon boosts in the game.
