The Gladiator Battleship is an Enforcer Battleship designed for PvP combat, sporting Void resistance and the ability to equip powerful Marauder Technologies. However, it is blocked from using those of other sources.

As a battleship, this ship has bonus range and duplicate weapons for each firing arc, dealing massive damage from a safe distance.

Strategy and Setup

Advantages

With many weapon slots similar to the Enforcer Battleship, the Gladiator Battleship can quickly vaporize incoming enemies using Void weaponry such as the Void Eclipse Driver. It has increased range and a broadside firing arc typical of battleships, and is often used for kiting cruisers and other short-ranged ships without taking any damage in return.

A clear advantage over the Enforcer Battleship is its low repair time, allowing you to return to the fight sooner after being defeated.

Disadvantages

The Enforcer Battleship can equip technology with Harmonic Bonuses such as Agility and Warfare, unlike the Gladiator Battleship. As a result, Gladiator Battleships have a difficult time kiting A.X.I.S. Hulls and gain a minimal damage boost despite Marauder Ship Weapons being significantly stronger.

Similar to other Marauder Hulls, this ship lacks Alien and Plasma resistance. It is also unable to equip any resistors and therefore relatively fragile against non-Marauder weapons.

Combined with its measly defense slots (1 armor and 1 shield), the Gladiator Battleship is surely going to be taken out extremely quickly by long-range Liberator Destroyers and anything else that manages to open fire at them.
