The ECHO Ray Turret is the base varient of the ECHO Ray, featuring chain damage.

It fires a thin yellow laser that bounces across multiple targets just like the ship version.

Strategy and Setup


ECHO Ray Turrets can easily decimate a blitz fleet that is not sufficiently spread out, dealing massive damage by hitting multiple ships with the chain effect. The mayhem caused can be comparable to that of the SICO Missile Turret.

ECHO Ray Turrets have lower XP than Tachyon Beam Turrets due to their lesser raw DPS, this can be used to build a lower-level base that limits the level range of invaders.


ECHO Ray Turrets have a very low range and are powerless against sniper attacks. They could not even protect against blitz attacks on the opposite side of the base without the use of Focused Optics.

ECHO Ray Turrets underperform against a single target; Tachyon Beam Turrets do a much better job of destroying individual ships with their greater damage output. Their damage is also quite spread out, making it difficult to take out one ship at a time and decrease the attacker's firepower.
